KS4 Online Safety

Online safety is a vital part of your personal development and wellbeing. In this section, you’ll explore a wide range of topics including managing your digital footprint, recognising and responding to online risks, understanding the impact of cyberbullying, protecting your privacy, and behaving responsibly on social media and gaming platforms.

Our aim is to empower you to make informed choices, support your peers, and understand the importance of kindness and respect online. By becoming more aware of how to stay safe and act responsibly, we can work together to prevent issues before they arise.

Remember, if you ever feel worried, unsure, or unsafe online, speak to a trusted adult—whether that’s a teacher, parent, or member of our safeguarding team.

Stay smart, stay safe, and support each other online.

The dangers of 'oversharing'

Lots of middle schoolers post and share information about themselves – and others – on social media. But in a world where “oversharing” might seem normal, it’s important to think about our digital footprints -- the things we leave behind online. In this video, you'll hear what teens have to say about sharing on social media, and you can think critically about the decisions you're making any time you post something online
