KS2 Online Safety

Online safety is of paramount importance for Key Stage 2 pupils. As they begin to explore the digital world, it’s crucial that they understand the potential risks and how to protect themselves. They should be aware of the importance of not sharing personal information online, such as their full name, address, or school. They should also understand that not everything they read online is true, and they should be encouraged to think critically about the information they encounter. Additionally, they need to know that it’s okay to talk to a trusted adult if they see something online that makes them uncomfortable. By teaching online safety at this stage, we can equip children with the knowledge and skills they need to navigate the online world safely and responsibly.
